Villa Medici (VM)

The big story is that Villa Medici has bought Primavera and will be taking occupancy sometime February/March. Domingo and his team are moving next door with a similarly themed restaurant as Villa Medici - he owns the name but whether he renames Primavera - the jury's out on that one!

The Primavera people are moving to a new location in Sesmarias - not sure where.

We are big fans of VM and can't see how they will recreate the VM look and feel in a smaller building. I know many people like Primavera (not me) but will they make the 'pilgrimage' to Sesmarias

I (despite living opposite it) have never set foot in Primavera. I do, however, use Villa Medici regularly. I am sure that they will be able to make the new restaurant "theirs" very quickly. It will be nice to be able to eat outside without the lorries parking next to me.

I understand the owners of the building want to run a restaurant from it.
