There is a group on Facebook that rehomes abandoned animals and there are a number of lost pets listed. I suggest you post Bailey's picture so that more people can keep an eye out! The link is http://www.facebook.com/#/group.php?gid=134085737496
If you can't access it, pm me and I can post his pic plus any information on Bailey. I do hope you find him.

Hi there, Silki again. Sorry you had no luck yesterday or today.

Have you put a poster at the supermarket that used to be Alisuper, This morning quite early my husband ws on his way fishing and stopped to have another look at the poster I had left in his car. He saw a small dog obviously lost and very similar in colouring and size to Bailey. My husband is not dog orientated so for him to say this maybe its worth going down there to ask around. Also the shop further along with the workmens restaurant on the side.

I went past there later in the morning around midday and didn't see any dog. I did stop a couple walking their dog very close to where I met you and your daughter and it turned out to be your neighbours!!

Did you ever find out who picked him up the first time and from where? I'm sure you have thought of that, I am just clutching at straws. After talking to that chap on his tractor yesterday I feel sure Bailey isn't far away though I don't know why he doesn't come home. Maybe you haven't been there long enough for him to have sussed out the route? Can't think that the old man would have imagined or made up the story.

If the weather is good tomorrow, I'll try to bring my two monsters over and walk around in that area. Maybe its worth going into every old farm cottage and ask just in case the Portuguese people have felt sorry for him and taken him in thinking he has been abandoned (as so many of the stray dogs have been) He must be getting some food from somewhere!?

Anyway, keep in touch and live in hopes please. best wishes, Silki
