Point taken Michael but their terms & conditions state;

Please note:
- We require cash payment on arrival;
- Full insurance does not cover tyres, punctures, coded keys, damages
inside the car and any accident by driver under the influence of alcohol.
In case of robbery locks or windows will not be covered by full insurance as
it is client’s responsibility if he leaves something inside the car that
attracts thieves.
If you do not wish to take the extra full cover insurance a credit card slip
will be asked as a deposit.

Looks like they do take credit cards but only if you damage something that isn't insured!

PS If you've got a good looking woman don't leave her in the car unattended............just in case she attracts attention!

Bugger, I'll have to take her with me now! 8)

I have found the best way to stop thieves breaking into your hire car is not to lock it in the first place. Once they get in and see there's nowt to steal they go off and look for one that has.

We used Zitauto for the first time in December.....car OK but spent about 40 minutes queuing whilst one guy laboriously filled out forms that could have been done by email ( as TravelRent do). Won't be rushing back to them!

Incidentally,the hire car excess can be covered by insure4carhire....about £45 pa for Europe & it covers tyres, glass etc. A good buy if a regular.

I would imagine he is referring to the name starting with 'Zit' as in pimple, spot etc.
