Abandoned dog
This time the cruel ba*stards left the puppy tied to a tree near my friends house! The puppy is about 3 months old and is a boy, very well behaved and has been taken to the vets and he is healthy and well.
Can anyone on this forum give him a home? My friend can't take him in because of their own dog, he is old and nearly blind now and hasn't the patience to have a puppy running around wanting him to play all day when he'd rather sleep and eat.
If you are interested please pm me and I will put you in touch.

What a beautiful puppy, I know it's awful but at least they tied him to a tree & didn't just dump him in the middle of nowhere to fend for himself, he still looks fit & gorgeous. Please someone give the handsome lad a loving home - but not just for Christmas.
I would but H says it's going to be bad enough with 4 dogs & the new kitten swinging from the christmas tree & there's no more room left at this inn.

Re: Abandoned dog
Drifter - his new name, arrives at Bamboo . . .
It was a lot harder than they thought, They had got quite attached to the little fella! Becky, my friend's young daughter, cried all the way home, not just because we left Drifter but because of all the other dogs that haven't got homes.
Nana van der Velden and her helpers do great work at the shelter and are kind and loving, it is great to see the opposite side of humanity to the b*stard who can leave a puppy tied to a tree without food and water!
I wonder, did the hard-hearted person that tied Drifter to the tree deliberately choose here to leave him after reading about how well cared for and loved, Daisy was? I hope not, for Daisy was a one-off, and they can't keep taking in strays and forking out for vet's bills and food.
