I am awfully bad at restaurant names, as many on the forum can testify (okay Lesley)
This traditional restaurant is at the back of the castle of silves, you turn right when you go over the bridge into silves and then left at the roundabout, its on the right through a few fields.
The black pork is wonderful, as is the setting, outside on a kind of ranch place, and is lovely in the evening, as it has uninterupted views of silves castle all lit up.

Should be "Recanto dos Mouros" - really nice place to eat.

I have been there several times and have no idea what the name is! I have a friend here that took us there the 1st time and will find out from him. He remembers these things.

Undoubtedly Recanto dos Mouros. Have not been there for a couple of years. Used to use it but the last couple of times found it very average. I would be interested to hear of any recent experiences

It was good, not fantastic, but rustic and quite cheap and the view was lovely

We tried to go there last March but picked a night when they were closed. Will try again next year (too late to alert anyone)
