Hi and welcome to Carvoeiro!

Nearby suppliers: MF Jacob in Lagoa can supply, install and provide warranty & maintenance for all types of electrical goods:
Lagoa shop tel: 282 353 320.

Alternatively, at more competitive prices, you can buy everything at outlets like Worten and Radio Popular in Guia, but setup is DIY and warranty issues may mean having to return it to the store yourself.

Hope this helps

Bought a washing machine from Wortens in the summer. Chose it, it was delivered free of charge the same day (7.30pm), then took the old one away and installed the new one (again free of charge) and translated bits of the manual for me!

Excellent service.

From where did they deliver to Carvoeiro? All I ever got from Portimao and Guia was that they don't deliver to that postcode.

Done the deed in August and purchased TV and Washing machine from Radio Popular at Algarve Shopping. Both items we used our car so did not ask about delivery.Main point was how helpful we were treated on the wo sepertae occassions we visited the store. Sales personnel knowledgeable about the range of products and not pushing for a sale giving us plenty of time to make up our minds.Throughly recommend.

Radio Popular in Guia were really good, they delivered to us out here in the sticks & we don't even have a postcode as such. Wortens at Guia have also always been most helpful. The tv we bought from Marc Electronica at Almancil as they did the whole Sky package thing.

Is Wortens at Guia the place next door to the supermarket ie not across the road in the retail park?

Just bought a replacement fridge/freezer from Conforama at Guia. Same model as available in most other outlets but was on offer with €50 off. Price included delivery to Ferragudo and collection of old unit. Bought it Wednesday - delivered Friday. Had a phone call a few hours after buying it as promised to confirm the booked delivery (including estimated delivery time) then a further phone call 30 mins before they arrived. Unit was unpacked and installed and all packaging and old unit removed. New unit came with a 2 year guarantee.

Excellent customer service.

Now just have to see if it's reliable but that is not down to the store.

We bought our office furniture from Conforama & they were very good, delivered it in a couple of days & assembled everything.

And yes, Wortens is next to the supermarket in the Algarve Shopping mall.

Can anyone recommend a supplier for LCD televisions at competative prices? I have had a look at the website of Worten and Radio Particular. In common with most things, due to the poor GBP, electrical items are more or less the same price in Portugal as the UK. Sometimes, in fact, they are more expensive in Portugal. I just wondered if any stores had sales on or preferential discounts. Any advice would be appreciated.
