Julio's
Julio's
Had dinner here a few nights ago, we hadn't been for about 3 years for no particular reason as we had always enjoyed this restaurant, I think we just kept trying new restaurants & you can only eat out so many times.
Anyway we had a lovely meal, our table was on the garden terrace & everything looked very pretty, the service was excellent & prompt & the food was very good, I had smoked swordfish to start followed by the lamb cutlets cooked pink to order. The restaurant was busy but the tables are far enough apart that you never feel crowded. We didn't faint when we got the bill & afterward's we wondered why we hadn't been for so long & in fact we are going back this Friday.

Yes - A couple of weeks ago, we managed to leave the children in the villa and walk down the hill to Julio's. Hadn't been there before but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, surrondings lovely and the waiters were really friendly and engaging. As you say, the bill was OK too. Recommended.

I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews on this forum. We've always had excellent food and service here. All those who don't like Julio's must be stupid.
