Building in August
Building in August
Does anyone know if a builder is allowed to continue to build during August as this is when most seem to close up and go on holiday?
Re: Building in August
There is NO official close season although August is the holiday month in Portugal and most of mainland europe.

Not in the current climate anyway.
We are currently inviting prices from builders for a sizeable refurbishment project and it is clear that the amount of work available is very 'thin on the ground'. The skill is going to be choosing the builder with the best reputation/references and not necessarily the lowest price - nightmare.
I would be interested to hear from anybody who has used a Project Manager to oversee their construction project and what that person cost and saved them?
