Spanish Hotels

Hi everyone, wonder if anyone out there can help?
We are going back to the U.K for a holiday later this summer and need a reasonably priced hotel with (secure ) parking to stay overnight on our way up to Santander. We would prefer to find one over the border in Spain, perhaps Valladolid area. Can anyone recommend one to us?

We stayed at the hotel Conde Ansurez in Valladolid a couple of years back on our way from portugal to visit friends in france. We were asked at reception if we would require dinner that evening and said yes we would so they booked a table and asked the room number to charge the meal to.On arrival in the resturant a table was ready with our room number on it.After the meal we went to the bar for a drink and then retired to bed.Leaving early the next morning we continued to France where upon our arrival my wife unpacked the travel bag that we used for the hotel in spain only to find her jewelery box empty.Yes we had been robbed while we were at dinner.Inside job i am sure and also our fault for not using the hotel safe.But a lesson learned and will not be forgotten. So take care you travellers you have been warned.Just to add we were not regular hotel users and obviously to trusting.
