Are you referring to those on the rh side?EMM wrote:Don,t get too excited but just looked at the webcam and it looks like there are large plant boxes being unloaded.

btw, EMM, does it take you a long time to refesh the web cam view each time? For me it takes about 5 times longer than the beach view.
Re: The new square
YEs it does,
The boxes are now on both sides and also spreading into the beach side.
We will see for ourselves at the weekend.

Have a safe journey and watch out for that train!EMM wrote:We will see for ourselves at the weekend.
Re: The new square
Ooh, is the wally trolley about again. Oh! I had better call it the train and not use the word 'walley trolley' , less it offends, apologies.
I have been on it and thoroughly enjoyed it, I know a mod who hates it!!

Re: The new square
Have not been down to the village today, so cannot comment on the "plant tubs", except they are in the same position as shown in one of the plans. Will pop down tomorrow and take a photo.
Re: The new square
Getting interesting, metal barriers have been moved pushing the traffic more towards the CVO sol, GNR much in evidence as well.
Re: The new square
THE TREES HAVE ARRIVED, there is a truck in the square.
Can ? how do I remove the banners which take up 20% of the picture ?

Ellie will be pleased to see the little trees in the planters. I wonder what that tent is for? Anyone know?

Re: The new square
I like the planters. Now all we need are a few benches on which to sit and watch the world go by. Does anyone know if any are planned? There is the beach wall, I suppose, but I'd rather have a proper seat for those times when using the bar isn't an option.
