Could anyone let me know what the current exhange rate is for the euro against the pound?

Current tourist rate is 1.45 euros to the pound sterling

These are mid market rates and are not the same as tourist rates, which are always considerably lower

I bought some on Thursday 1st and got 1.4726 commission free. It pays to shop around.

D'you mean??....it won't last long Digger :? ....that I could....could starve..die of thirst ..or what? :shock:
and what big City is that....Lisboa...London....surely you can't mean BOSTON! (the most common words Ive heard here are "'ow mooch?"!)

Save some of that pity for me...I just got done crunching the numbers on the cost of my recent stay in CVO...about 30% higher than last year :shock: ....George W. with his excessive spending has but our dollar in a tailspin against the euro...farewell CVO, till better days :(

Will 2, you might want to check out Belize.
Not as far to travel, English is the National language and their currency is pegged to the Dollar.

Sun, sand, surf, Astec (sp) ruins (sp) , a sub-tropical climate and I hear it's relativily unspoiled..

Thanks for the info Cowboy, Belize sounds like a great idea. Let's hope our dollar gets out of the cellar soon. :)
