public gym

Post by hippy »

Hi, I will be holidaying in carvoeiro in for a couple of weeks very soon and i was hoping to find out if there is a gymnasium which is available to the public on a pay per visit basis. I know many hotels have a gym for residents but we're staying in a villa. Does anyone know any hotels which allow public access.. cheers any info greatly appreciated.

Why do you need an indoor gym mate, the weather will be in the high 80's, skip the weights and get the CV work done on the roads etc, i can guarantee two weeks CV in that heat will make up for anything indoors. Get the MP3 on, shades, and crack on :wink:

Hiya, we couldn't find a decent gym in Carvoeiro last summer so we ended going to the one in Lagoa near to the Fatacil, there is also one near the roundabout that takes you to the water park (Slide and Splash) you need to turn right at that roundabout instead of left to the water park. The gym is on the left.
There is a gym at the tennis club in Carvoeiro but it is not air conditioned and if like my daughter you need to do some serious running (she is running a half marathon again this October in London) air con is really important in August!!!

You pay per visit or you can get a two week pass which works out much cheaper.

Good luck and have a good holiday :lol:
