Bring on August

New to the forum, just would like to say hello and cannot wait to get back in August. Any idea on the long range forecast for August, please say hot

Hiya and welcome to the site from me. August is usually very hot, we have had some showers towards the end of August but this was not the 'norm' so expect wall to wall sunshine and about 38 - 40C temps. Enjoy !!

Long range weather forecast, regardless of what the UK meteorologists say to try to keep you in the UK, is "Better than in the UK"

We've had August holidays around the world and the Algarve is the only place where we have had 2 weeks with zero rain and that has happened twice.

Rain tends to find me on Holidays. I have been in Sesmarias the last 2 years and
it has rained, albeit it just a very heavy day or so.

I'm in visiting again in August, so bring your umbrellas

I am very pleased you'll be gone before we arrive on 15 September. Were you in the village during June 2006? It rained for a week!

We were in the South of France 2006 (september) and it was torrential rain for the 9 of the 12 days we were there.
We have only discovered Sesmarias in the last couple of years and we love it.
