I think if you do a little research on the forum site, you will find the answers to most of your questions.
The restaurants thread is a very comprehensive guide to the restaurants in the area. Added to that there is the excellent http://www.eatalgarve.com restaurant review site.
Like wise the forum has an excellent beaches section.
Most of the large beaches have bars and restaurants close or attached.
The joy of an area like Carvoeiro, is the exploring and discovering the answers for your questions for yourself.
What we, on the forum do, is provide you with alot of helpful information and pointers.
Enjoy exploring our corner of the Algarve

Why don't you browse through the forum and answer your own questions? Whatever answers we provide will be based upon personal preferences and will have little meaning for you unless the people providing the answers share your likes and dislikes.

Re: The Best of CVO
I only did so to provoke some debate amongst you local CVO residents. I noticed a post from EMM on the "nothing of interest in CVO" thread that complained that most of the postings these days seemed to be on non CVO forrums. And so...I thought it would be interesting to pose these questions and monitor your responses on one thread.
