Re: O Barradas
Well I thought a nice hunky waiter bringing me my wine and coffee would fill the quota for a 'man'blue wrote:What's a garcom?
Re: O Barradas
That would be lovely LJ unfortunately Portugues waiters very, very rarely fit that description, unless of course you know of a place where they do & are keeping it all to yourself, which I would have to say is not in the spirit of sisterhood. Anyway hunky or not I don't care as long as they have a bottle in one hand & a glass in the other.

Re: O Barradas
I think we need to do a bit of a 'reckie' blue, maybe a week of going around all the bars to find the right guy would be a bit of fun...blue wrote:That would be lovely LJ unfortunately Portugues waiters very, very rarely fit that description, unless of course you know of a place where they do & are keeping it all to yourself, which I would have to say is not in the spirit of sisterhood. Re: O Barradas
Purely in the name of consumer research of course, I think this is an excellent idea!

Re: O Barradas
I cant think of anyone better than Blue to show LJ and Tricky La dolce-vita Carvoeiro......be gentle Jackie...they are friends of mine
Re: O Barradas
Bruce you know what they say, 'if you can't stand the pace, get out of the race'. We'll start at the top of the town 'cos you know it'll be all downhill from there on.
Re: O Barradas
Erm..Michael Crane, can you have a word here please. This started out as a thread about O Barradas, a country restaurant between Lagoa and Silves, and has now turned into a discussion about a pub crawl in Carvoeiro. These people should be banned.

Re: O Barradas
Puff, a crawl around for a drink or two, looking at the food and prices are justthe thing to do,perfect, ooh. and to check out the waiters. sure has to be a bonus, if one comes across a decent one, I should say.
