O Barradas
O Barradas
Just read E-Richard's comment on this restaurant on the eat Algarve website. Could someone please let me know where it is. I am coming out at the end of May and would like to try it.

Re: O Barradas
I read Richards excellent review on the EatAlgarve website, and this restaurant certainly looks like one to try.
From the map it looks like its on the road that goes from the centre of Lagoa to Silves. Is that correct Richard??

Re: O Barradas
Yes, Bruce, its on the "old" road from Lagoa to Silves.
But an easier route for the novice is to take the dual carriageway from N125 to Silves. Cross the two roundabouts that feed the motorway. Then take the next off ramp to the right signposted to Palmeirinha. Down the ramp, turn left, underneath the dual carriageway, till a T junction a few meters further and turn right. Then about a couple hundred meters further there are large ranch style gates on the left with the restaurant name very prominently displayed. Park, and enjoy !

Hey Tricky, we started at that bar in Silves, and found the restaurant on our drive back.
Took us two years to find it again though
