Beautician

Post by Eva »

A question for the ladies!

Does anyone know a beautician here in Carvoeiro, I only see hairdressers!
And a phone number would be great too!

thanx,

Eva

There's a beautician started at the David Leadbetter school on the Pinta and Gramacho golf courses. She does facials and various massages, manicures, pedicures, etc. I had a facial recently and she was very thorough and uses good products. Very reasonable too.

I haven't been around here for a while as I've just had a baby, so I'm trying to catch up. I'm a self-employed beautician and will be taking my business with me to the Algarve when we move later this year, so I'm hoping to build up some Clients for myself! I will be a mobile beautician, so I'll be able to visit my Clients wherever they are.
I probably ought to be looking into getting some advertising up and running for later on this year.

Congratulations Debs--hope you & baby are doing well :)
Wonderful news ..mobile beautician...can you do anything with gardeners hands?..cant keep nails long and they get a bit rough at times.
Are you out in autumn? Ill be there for long stay..so consider me as one of your customers! :)
Wish you every success with your move & job

Hi Ellie

I've called my new baby Elise which I'm sure will get shortened to Ellie! :)

I can sort out gardeners hands and even make your nails grow for you! We're hoping to move out in September but we still need to find somewhere to live! We will be house hunting on our next trip at the end of April.
Its nice to have some encouragement with the business though as it can take some time to build up a client base.
Thank you!

Hi Debbie,

That's great news. I'm moving over to CVO myself next January so knowing that there is a beautician around is great.

Let me know our details when you get sorted out. I'm sure you'll get a great client base in no time.

Same as Tricky, when you have business cards, let me know. I'll put them in our villa for our rentals.

Thanks Thunderbolt!

Seeing as I'm getting such a great response here I'm hoping I won't have too much to worry about when we move.

I also do massage therapy etc. including baby massage and teach yoga if anyone is interested! I'll go into my full repertoire when I get my advertising sorted!

Thanks!

Do you know where you will be moving to yet?

I'm so excited about moving. I've got a few trips planned there before the actual move but this year is dragging along!

Hi Debs

Perhaps you could do some kind of Ad, on the site.
Then maybe regulars and new holidaymakers could book you prior to visiting CVO. I'm sure Steen could sort something out for you?,
also you could get rates for the Algarve Resident and others.
Ellie might be able to give you info on that.

Hi Thunderbolt

We're not sure where we are moving to. It doesn't really matter to me. We like so many places in the Algarve! I think when we find something we like we'll know, although I am thinking that I might like to be out Carvoeiro way, rather than further East. There are still places we haven't been to yet and plan to visit, just in case we decide they might be for us.

We too are planning a few visits this year before the final move.

Tricky - that's a great idea about the site. When I have a little more time (hands full with new baby at the mo!) I'll look more into the advertising and speak to Ellie. All the ideas and offers I've had so far have been great.
