NEW SKY CARDS

Post by EMM »

Sky intend replacing existing SKY Cards, the new cards are being posted to the address of the existing subscribers.

Will this not just replace but invalidate exitsing cards?

Does any one else have any information.
( not a problem for us as we use Freesat when in Portugal )

Hi Ed,
Can I assume that when you say the freesat card, you refer to a card for BBC, ITV etc purchased in Portugal? If these are not affected, then many of us will be OK when the new cards come out. Will be interested to see how long it takes R.J Tecnica etc to find away around the problem for pay-to-view people.

Our freesat box is a " Dark Box " and does NOT require a Sky card to view non subscription channels.

There is a link on , the SKy site which I have being trying to find.

The announcement about the new card is being carried on some Sky channels.
