IKEA in Loule?
IKEA in Loule?
I just picked this up, sorry but it's in Portuguese. It appears to be saying that IKEA is going to be opening a store at Loule, creating three thousand jobs. If my translation is wrong, someone please correct me!

Why did I apologise for it being in Portuguese? This IS Portugal

Re: IKEA in Loule?
according to this weeks "The News" - Mayor Soares in Silves hopes and thinks they will be opening in the Algoz area
excerpt as follows
Another major project is the creation of the Alcantarilha commercial outlet. A number of industrial warehouses and large business headquarters already exist in this region, just off the En125/A22 roundabout, the longest-standing probably being the renowned marble factory. It is hoped that over time that area will consolidate and grow, becoming home to an array of other national and international companies looking for Algarve-based premises as well as becoming one of the Algarve’s largest commercial outlets. Hygiene and cleaning product company Elis has, this week, confirmed its interest in settling in Alcantarilha, where it is looking to establish a distribution centre to service southern Portugal and Andalucía.
It has been reported Swedish furnishing giants IKEA are also interested in opening an Algarve outlet in what will become a similar industrial park east of Algoz.
