Private Message Notification
Is it just me? I no longer get an email informing me of new PMs. I have ticked both choices in Board Preferences, but all I get is the pop-up - which is fine if you're browsing the forum, but not much use if you're not.

Re: Private Message Notification
What gets me is that you can write a pm, click send, and the system throws up the dialogue box inviting you to log in again, even though you are logged in.
So you log in again, then click back to get back to your message as under the old system, so you can re-send, but under the advanced and improved, (NOT
) new system you find you cannot get back to the message, it hasnt been saved into drafts or anything, and the message is totally lost., and you have to start again.
One answer is to send your pm every few lines, then go back and edit on the next bit....but that is a longwinded exercise.
SO....(1) why do we get logged out?
(2) why can we no longer get back to the pm we had written
(3) pms seem to inexplicably get lost under the new system. Why?

Don't know what you're on about here! I 'submit' this to you. It goes into my Outbox until you open it, and then it appears in my Sent box. Then, unless I select other options it returns me to the message. I am never asked to log in again

Re: Private Message Notification
This morning when I cranked up my PC, OE received 6 emails telling me I had PMs. When I logged it to the forum I had none! They all referred do older PMs that I'd read and deleted. What is going on????
