LONG TERM RENTAL INFO. PLEASE

Hope this is the correct place to ask this question.

Would anybody be able to tell me how much a 12 month rental on a 2 or 3 bed house with own or communal pool would cost ?

Also what other bills would likely to be ?

I would have thought about 10 to 12 thousand euros....but would be interested to see some figures from those of you who do year round rentals. Part of it I suspect will be based on location, location, location!

It is for a pal of mine who is interested in moving to the area.

I suggested he may think about renting for 12 months before buying .

I know someone who moved to Majorca and did just this.

They paid £5k ( in the times of E1.48 rate) for a year plus utilities).

They loved it , but it made them realise that what they thought they would like to buy was not what they actually neede.
