Airport Transfers
We have used the company that is advertised on the front page of this site,it is under algarvedriver, farotransfer.com. They are very good and reasonably priced and reliable.

Using car rental from Faro in the busy season is enough to try the patience of a saint.
If you are happy to stand in the queue (it doesn't matter which rental company you choose) while the people behind the 'jump' natter to each other - then the hire car option is the least expensive.
In the busy time - we have our favourite taxi driver collect us and within an hour of landing we are on our terrace with a cup of tea (or stronger) on our terrace in Carvoeiro. It costs €100 return - it is a lot but it prevents the aggro - so is worth it!
The hire car is delivered shortly after that. Reverse the process when going home.
We have been 4 times since Christmas - no long queues at passport and none at the rental company - wonderful.
It's horses for courses - Patience v Convenience.

They charge us 120.00 euros it is a mini bus as there are 5 of us plus one of the girls friends usually, it is a lot cheaper than hiring a 6 seater car or mini bus, I also cannot stand messing about at the hire car place where they never have the car we ordered etc, we the same as you no cases so straight out of the airport and in the Villa within the hour.
They charge 100.00 euros for 1 to 4 people and 5 to 8 120.00, this is the rate for owners abroad who use them a lot through out the year.

Hi Shanagarry
Who do you use that drops the Car of at your Villa?
We usually order on line and pick up in the Village, but your idea sounds better, have you used the for a long time? Is it cash only or cq and credit cards.
Thanks Joe
