La Bella Vita - Club Atlantico
La Bella Vita - Club Atlantico
On the numerous recommendations of forum members we have just been to La Bella Vita. It was so good, and the service was fantastic without being intimidating. Great for a special occasion but no more expensive than some of the fish restaurants in carvoeiro or ferragudo.
he waiters were great with the children and seemed genuinley pleased that we enjoyed ourselves

HI lesley
Club Atlantico is up past Rocha Brava lighthouse, keep going on the main road and look for a turning on the left. Yes I would book, i have noticed in the past few days that the town is getting very busy. We rang up to book Happys yesterday for the children and couldn't get in until next Tuesday!
At La Bella Vita, ask for a table overlooking the pool if possible.
See you next week x

OK......I'm a convert
Went in there last week, and it was great in all respects. The food was first class, and the staff couldn't do enough, even tweaking the menu to give me a starter that wasnt on the menu, (Bruschetta), and giving me the simple veal in lemon sauce without the king prawns and cheese that I didnt want
Really impressed....and the best bit was that my sister in law was paying the fairly substantial bill
My wife and I were talking on the plane home, trying to decide which is best, this place or Colina Village. It's incredibly hard to call.......
What is good that we have 2 absolutely brilliant restaurants that are putting down a real marker for fine dining in the Carvoeiro area

La Bella Vita and other nice eating places
I am pleased to see that this Restaurant has received positive reviews as I think it is one of the best around Carvoeiro. Despite the falling £ against the Euro the food is great. I still feel that Paulo-Vincente is the best waiter in the Algarve and even if my wife has to wait a bit longer, if it is good enough for Cliff Richard then it gets my vote. The Chef always comes out when you leave to say goodbye, a very nice gesture.
Primavera opposite Vimar's is also another top class place to eat, although if you use the garden behind the main restuarant the food is from the same Chef and kitchen but the prices are far cheaper. Again, Carlos is another very pleasant member of the waiting staff who is eager to please and has a friendly and amusing manner.
