Think it is the one above the shops at the very bottom of the in Road on the right, coach loads of people always turning up think it is just for local people or members, I may be wrong but that is what I was told a couple of years ago

it´s for local people. Come on, there are so many bars and cafés in Carvoeiro and I think they all have normal prices - of course they cannot offer the drinks ... they all have to survive. Leave the local places to the local ...

In the article the New President of the club says that he wants ALL nationalities to join as this will be good for the community.

I agree it is not for holiday makers are there any resident expats who have joined ??

The village Amorosa not to far from CVO but a rural village and they have a social club for all the residents. There are quite a few Brits in the village and they belong to the social club. Beer is 65cents and wine is 50 cents a glass. They have a minibus once a week to take them to Silves municipal swimming pool and they do other trips out and about. The social club is well patronized and I know some of the Brits that are there daily enjoying the good priced drinks. This is a great idea cos you speak more Portugese and really become a local. There are two social clubs in Silves and both have expat members.
The one in CVO you can see them enjoying a drink or a light snack from the window if you look up and crane your neck. We were going to pop in with a local but it looked very smokey so we declined the invitation.
