More of a Ainsley Harriott, actually. Not that I look like him. But I like a bit of rhythm, and nothing too scientific. And I like to, er, turn my pancakes by flicking them over  with incredible style 8)

Rob!
Lukewarm....romantic..aggrevating ?
Well..take my advice (for what its worth) and practise your romantic tecnique....then she'll maybe 'hot up' and not be quite so aggrevating..hope Guest who posted this topic..is taking note
An attractive Portuguese lady I know (single) says she wants more romance in her life...a man who will make her feel good...who likes to walk hand -in hand along the beach....look at the stars..and say what she wants to hear!
NO!..not 'Lets go for a beer!' :)

what are you researching exactly may I ask? I sincerely hope its all for the cause of 'Romance'! :)
She wouldn't want it any other way !
Ialso happen to know ..that shes rather partial to Brit men
aw gawd! What have I started :?
Better warn you though..that she may be small(and pretty) but can also be rather...fiery

I thought "agradavel" meant "pleasant" not "aggravating"?

Youre perfectly right Irlandesa..it is pleasant!

PORTUGESE WOMEN

Post by Guest »

I know this is going to be blown away but in my seven years of coming to Algarve/ Carvoeiro I honestly can say I have never seen one really good looking portugese female. There are plenty of nice looking ones in there twenties but were oh were do the other ones go to. I do believe not many of them as are as liberated as the British women. I also think the one's in there forties age quickly. I think generally the Spanish females are better looking. What do you think? Just an obsevation.

well i read somewhere that the skin of a 30 year old here is equal to a 60 year old scandavian....im afraid living in the sun does come at a cost.

like all places. if you look at women in lisbon they are far more attractive than perhaps the locals around the algarve.

what comes across is that (by and large) dont seem very dynamic..no crackle no zest..is that bad? ..well i dunno depends on your taste i suppose.

Re: the last couple of posts,

In my opinion the women from the north of Portugal are -generally- better looking than those from Algarve. They are different breeds: Algarveans have more Arab blood in them.

Also, it is true to say women in the big cities, Lisbon, Porto etc, are more attractive as they have more money to spend on themselves. And as for the “no crackle no zest” comment, I think that’s also true. The young and ambitious don’t hang around in sleepy Algarve. But I do know of a number of Lisbon based Algarveans who have a holiday home there.
