A very happy one to all our Welsh members....its a beautiful one too here in Lincs..hope its the same in 'The Valleys' !

Thanks from a very sunny but very cold South West Wales - a St David's Day tinged with sadness as today was the funeral of the great John Charles - probably one of the finest footballers that this nation has ever produced.

Very fitting that his funeral should take place on such an important day in the Welsh calendar, whilst the 'Gentle Giant' became very famous he never forgot his roots. God Bless.

I happened to sit next to John Charles at the Champions League Final last year and he was a true gentleman.

Very sad when I heard he had died
