Things to do at Christmas

We will be in Carvoeiro from christmas day to New years day
will there be anything going on ? Are the bars and restaurants
fully open....What would be good for us to do .....Thanks for now

Id stay home If I were you, carvoeiro very disapointing at xmas, lots of things closed and looks like a cold & wet festive season this year.

Hi

Well, for the past two days it has been unusually warm and sunny here in Carvoeiro, today is cloudy, but it has still been pleasant, it does get very cold in the evening, but with our lovely log fire, no problem. It hasnt rained here since about the 14th December ' so where misery scrooge gets the wet and cold festive from - God only knows. There are quite a number of bars/restaurants closed, but hey, who blames them with all the hours they work in the summer, before and beyond. There are still other bars and restaurants open - so look around, ask and enjoy x
