Christmas - supermarkets and restaurants

Going to Carvoeiro on Boxing Day, can anyone let me know what might be open in the way of supermarkets and restaurants for this week? Thanks.

Boxing day is NOT a holiday in Portugal, so expect supermarkets to be open-as-usual. Many restaurants are closed for the winter, but enough are open to find a meal out every night.
