I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND EDL IN CARVOEIRO AS YOU GO OUT ON THE ONE WAY SYSTEM THEIR OFFICE IS ABOUT 50 YARDS UP ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE.I USED THEM TO BUY MY VILLA & THR STAFF ARE BRILLIANT THEY MORE THAN WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR US.THE OWNER IS EDGAR&HIS RIGHT HAND MAN IS NELSON HTEY BOTH SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH&WILL BE MORE THAN HELPFUL.MENTION MY NAME IF YOU WISH(ALF MARSHALL)I HAVE JUST BEEN ON THE PHONE FROM HERE IN THE UK TO EDGAR TONIGHT.
Carleton Properties on Estrada do Farol.
Mike Clarke is the owner and is very efficient, he certainly followed up quickly after we made the offer. Also good at liaising with the lawyers.
I think in general they are so much more proactive than estate agents in UK.
Try around though as a few properties we viewed were with multiple agents.

It's not a very well kept secret actually. The trick is to be realistic with your pricing. Ask a few real estate agents to value your property, and instead of asking the question "How much can I get for this property?" ask the question "How much have similar properties actually sold for in the last 6 months?"widge wrote: What's the secret and what type of people are buying?
We used Mark at Palm to sell our Apartment and buy our Villa, his commision was by far the cheapest, and they did a really good job for us, helped us out with any problems, and even now have the keys and are getting jobs done for us etc so when we back at Christmas it will all be ready, we did get a few people round, but we felt happy with his advise, which has all been good.
Think people should be looking at the market etc, we for example ended up leaving most of our furniture, but it was worth it to sell.
