Hi All,
Can anyone help with a trusty cleaner who can check people in and out for lettings. We have just bought a place in Vale de Milho, it is 3 beds. Also what happens if the alarm goes off when its unoccupied!

Before you commit to any agents I hope you would make sure who ever is going to manage your place and clients goes by YOUR TIMETABLE as per cleaning, and always confirm your request in email, to satisfy your self that your place will be clean when your clients arrive, and are met as per your /and your clients request and not agents time table. Also please remeber to get agents proof of Fisal Number, and Office/home address as you would need this for your accountants, and tax authorities. And no doubt you will think twice about paying any cash up front, and always get the fiscal receipt, and get at least 3-4 references.AND GOOD LUCK and stay on top of things, to avoid last minute hitches.

Yes I would be very intersted to hear Mazza's response too. Gabby I hope you have by now found someone reliable, and responsible, and especailly someone who also speaks Portuguese too, and able to deal with international clients not just BRITISH. as you will get all sort wanting to rent your property. Glad to see a professional at work, along the past few months and a busy season. you provided me all the invoices with all the fiscal details needed by my accountants, and accrate breakdown of charges, which is more than i can say for a cowgirl who wanted to charge me 10 euro for 5 minute phone call even though the phone being used was my friends.And i am still waiting for Proper Invoice with Fiscal details / and business address.This was 6 months ago. So thank you again, for saving me from crooks and so called cheap as cheap managers i have encountered in last 2 years.(NOT ALL ARE BAD BUT SUCCESS RATE WILL BE ABOUT 1/50 being good )
