Great work Winky - it's looking good - wish there was an English language version.

The stand looks big enough anyway.

"International Circuit debuted in the Algarve

Miguel Praia already ran in the new International Circuit in the Algarve. The whole project is in fairly advanced stage of construction, with the first layer of asphalt already put in full, while the benches are also starting to take shape. It was the first time that the Circuit heard the sound of a motorcycle engine of competition. It fell to Miguel Beach, Team Parkalgar's test rider, the task of the new track debut."

Very sad to hear that Craig Jones died following his crash at Brands Hatch last Sunday. It's reported that the Algarve Motorpark circuit's owners, who are also heavily involved with Jones' team - Parkalgar Honda - are to name a corner after him on the new circuit and believe the gesture will be a fitting tribute to the talented young Brit.

Flew over the new track last Wednesday with Roy4Eyes. Very, very impressive, and obviously designed to host a future F1 Portuguese Grand Prix.

I have to say that from a 1000 feet it didnt look anything like ready to host its inaugural meeting next month. They are still building the connecting road over to the A22.
The track and grandstanding are all in place, but it still looks like a building site. But according to the Algarve Resident, the contracters are working double shifts, 7 days a week to get it ready in time.

There is no doubt that it will be a massive prestige development for the Algarve , and must bring extra tourism and associated business to the west of the area.

What I dont understand is where the hell they could build an airport around there.....short of spending billions carving away hills that is!!
