Good Homes Needed for Beautiful Puppies.

I actually thought he was the loveliest of the pups! He reminds me of our rescue Gem, who unfortunately is no longer with us, but she was a great dog - bigger than dozer, but very similar markings!

He is full of mischief, so far we have had to replace nearly all our flipflops & one pair of H's shoes & all H's shoes are now missing their laces. 'Dozer's teething now & we keep giving him teething bones & toys but the trouble is the other dogs keeping taking them from him, but on the whole, apart from the footwear

, he has caused very little damage.

(so far). The mop & bucket seen at the back of the photo are a constant feature of my life at the moment.

How could anybody say he was ugly, he is so cute! I,m glad you found homes for the others. We took a rescue puppy about 4 weeks ago. Is she full of mischief! So far we have lost my hubbys reading glasses, the corner of our coffee table, the sky remote, the base of one of the arm chairs, a couple of flip flops and eveytime the phone rings, she knocks it off its perch!! She is so loving and cheeky and eats like a horse, she is still quite nervous when we take her out for a walk, and flinches quite a lot - but Zara is gorgeous and we wouldnt be without her now. How anybody could have left her outside chained up on a 2m chain is beyond me. Shes happy now though.

. Lulu, the mum, had a thing about the ringtone on my mobile phone, it drove her mad in the end I had to change it.

I can't understand this portuguese thing of having a dog just to keep it chained up all day, never walked, never let off to have a play & left all by themselves, they're pack animals they need company. There's a young dog down the lane from us she was only about a year or so when we moved in, she has been chained up constantly on a very short chain, she used to be all waggy & affectionate whenever she saw anyone one, now she just looks as though the will to live has been sapped out of her, she has dug herself a hollow in the earth & she just curls up in it, it breaks my heart but the owner gets very aggresive if we say anything, what can we do? Technically as far as the GNR are concerned he's not treating her cruelly, she's fed & watered & has some sort of shelter if you can call a small old rusted metal drum a shelter.

ha ! got home this afternoon and John had left our bedroom door open ooops he is now without slippers, birkenstocks and I have lost yet another flip flop also, all of his shoes were scattered from the bedroom to the hallway, luckily no teethmarks in them! Bet he doesnt leave the bedroom door open again.
