Well Looby.
Hope to make it soon but it may be just at the end of the 1 day forecast. Still any time any weather should be o.k. in CVO.

I agree that storms can be exciting but do spare a thought for the animals and also anyone that has the unfortunate experience of being struck by lightning. They do not always live to tell the tale.

Hello Mrs Bale,
I am sure that no-one on this site would not accept that Lighting storms are dangerous and frightening.
Though one of the most exciting storms I watched was from a balcony, in CVO. over the sea,it was very exciting and didn't not make me feel afraid. I guess if I had been in the midst of it, I would have felt more wary.

Thanks for that. Yes we're all up and running now, our landline phone was destroyed by the lightning but apart from that all is good. Normal service has been resumed on the weather front and the summer clothes are back out. I see you've got property in Caramujeira is everything alright there, I could go and have a look around if you were worried at all.

Helen - many thanks for your offer much appreciated. Hopefully the pool man (who also does some maintenance work) will have checked everything out as last time, he was most put out that I thought I needed to check.
