Yep I am still wandering ( i think others would say crawling , but as i am only on water and coke - thats the drink - then I am just wandering. Wandering by name and wandering by nature - dont you just hate it when I say things about myself before you get chance 
).
In Smilers , the most central and easiest bar restaurant to get home from , in the whole of CVO ( right next to taxi rank ) , this time I actually had a cup of tea , while my still standing friend has a swift one.
Just like to say these are different days ( in case you think that I actually ate in everybar on the same day !! ) , had my favourite smilers lunch and persuaded my friend to try as well ( Piri piri chicken pitta ) , 6 years and they still my favourite in Smilers.
Ok the reason for this message , to say thankyou to smilers staff and customers for sponsoring me in my charity event ( www.clicsargent.org.uk 12th oct abseiling off transporter bridge in Middlesborough - if you wish to sponsor or come and heckle please feel free , will give more details nearer the time ).
So far in CVO I have raised 550 euros in sponsorship ( they should pay for the stanna stairlift that i am going to need to get up the 280 ft bridge , coming downs easy !!! ) , I AM ONLY JOKING , money paid to charity after event completed .

we go to smilers a few times for breakie when on hols in carvoeiro, the coffee is delicious
they make such a fuss of my 2 yr old... we came home in early June and he still remembers Carlos and Wilson, and the portuguese lady who works there or, as he calls her "the lady who snogs me"... we fly back in 2 weeks and he will be v excited to see them again

Geraldine and Robert at smilers were two of the first friends I made on the Algarve , and that came about by the way they treated my son.
Children are always made welcome , people come back year after year and the staff remember the customers drinks.
All the staff there are lovely and friendly , plus its nice and central.
If you go in just let them know that I was saying nice things about them.
