Update on Ted
Hi
Sadly,Ted hasnt turned up yet, although we have had sightings from different people who say he has been seen nr Poco Partido, the only definite sighting of him was on Friday 15th August around the Sesmarias Country Club area, which is only 5 mins away from our house, although on the opposite side of the road to Country Club Sesmarias, so we cant understand why he didnt find his way home from there. We are sure now that he has either been knocked down or, the most obvious one is that someone has got him.
As it happens, the GNR brought a dog to our house this morning who they thought was Ted, but it wasnt, bless. It is a bull dog that is the same colour as Ted, with a white flash on his chest, he has a chain collar and a white flea collar, he looks like he has been looked after, although he is a bit skinny. The GNR couldnt get any response from any of the refugios or kennels today and as tomorrow is a holiday, guess who has took him in for a couple of days. There is no way we could have turned him out again and the 3 GNR guys were genuinley concerned as to what would happen to him as everywhere was shut. So we are fostering him until everywhere opens again on Tuesday. So if anyone knows of anyone who has lost a bulldog, pm me AND if anyone sees my little TED, pm me also, we are now offering a reward for the safe return of him we refuse to give up.
Thanksxx

Ted is missing
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that your dog is still missing. I live not so far from Poco Partido and drive past there a lot. Haven't seen any dogs matching his description but will certainly be looking out. My husband uses that cafe quite a lot so will ask him to ask around. Meantime, have you notified all the vets in the area, even the one in Guia? Also it helps to ask Radio Lagoa to put out a message in case someone has picked him up. Mention the fact he is microchipped. This method has brought home a couple of dogs that have been stolen in the past. I thought I saw a couple of days ago a boxer dog near Palm Gardens with a chain collar, but is wasn't a staffie. Keep looking and never give up, unless he has been run over, he will probably be seen if sufficient people know he is missing. all the best
