Printing Boarding Cards

Hi all,

We're regular visitors to a family apartment here in the town and while my wife is an avid lurker she's far too shy to post.

The question is, where can we go to print out our boarding cards once we've checked in online?

I have a laptop with me but no printer.

I could print them out but unless you live close by they wouldn't reach you in time. I live in Lincoln. Where are you?

If you go to Rua dos Pescadores (in road) toward the bottom there is a shop owned by a chinese family that sells shoes and clothes at front (loads of useful/useless stuff at back!). They have internet access at front to left and they will print up for you. I got stuff printed in March, I think about 1 euro a page.

Depends on the airline.
From my experience, you can with easyJet, but not with Monarch. Don't know about the others.

HINT: easyJet allow printing of boarding cards up to 60 days before flight, so no need to hunt a printer in Carvoeiro. Print it before you leave home (unless you are on a really long holiday

)

Not sure about Faro as we always fly to Seville with Ryanair.

When you stay in Cvo? why's that, do you visit Spain first and then drive?

You CAN checkin online and use going out of Faro, certainly with Easyjet with hand luggage only. Dead easy, you arrive an hour later than normal checkin, walk past all the queuing people, and go straight through security. You do have to make yourself known at the gate though, because that is the first time you show on the system.

Yes agree, if you only have hand luggage it is a good system, you can also do it with British Airways.

When you stay in Cvo? why's that, do you visit Spain first and then drive?

Both the flights and car hire are much cheaper. The journey across can be done in 2-3 hours so it's worth it for us.

I've never been able to check-in online with Monarch but I'd rather have to get their earlier to check-in than fly Easyjet.

Isn't it funny about pre-conceptions....
We fly regularly on both Monarch and Easyjet to and from Gatwick.

The only advantage with Monarch is pre-booked and allocated seats, but the disadvantage is that Monarch are a lot less punctual, and usualyy more expensive.

On balance, at least from LGW, Easyjet seems the better bet.
