Breakfast in Carvoeiro

Post by ncook »

Hi, We've been coming to CVO for quite a few years now and really are early birds. We'll be over on the 15th for a fortnight(can't wait!!!!!)

Is there anywhere in CVO where we can get an early breakfast? We've been to the golf club in Vale de Milho, but would like to try a more traditional Portuguese breakfast. Does anyone know of anywhere we might get one?

Cheers, Nick

We like to have breakfast at Cafe Fino up the hill on Estrada de Farol opposite Barclays bank also Le Doce on Rua do Barranco ( the out road ). Don't know how early you want breakfast and when they open though!

From what I've observed of the locals round here a portuguese breakfast consists mainly of a bica helped down by a macieira. :D

Bellissimo -( out road next to Hemmingways) - and Doce Mar - (in road next to Blue Rock butcher) are open early and have a breakfast menu in addition to the usual toasts, pastries etc. as well as the bica and macieira.

Cafe Dolce on the way out of town next to Anteak Bar (I think?).

Top service and great value.
