Price Scale for Water bills

Post by lagermeister »

Can anyone confirm the following:

Last year the unit scale used to be

10 x .41
20 x .69
20 x .96
50 x 1.91
rest x 2.37

Now I notice that it is
5 x .41
10 x .69
and I dont know the rest of the scale.

Reason I am asking is that my bill has been estimated really low and it should be quite high due to a leak. My meter has been reading really low so I want to try and split the untis between this bill and the next one.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh drat - that will be me scrounging sardines off the fishermen in Ferragudo as I won't be able to afford food for the rest of the month!

What is the average monthly bill for a 4 bed villa especially over the summer months when it is heavily occupied.

Average Water Bills

Difficult to say as the two-monthly bills seem to fluctuate wildly and there does not seem to be a particulalrly high usage during the summer compared to the rest of the year. Our annual bills (3 bedroom villa with pool) for 2003 to 2008 have been as follows:
2003: 851 Euros
2004: 1415 (pool heater installed so lots of water loss during plumbing)
2005: 1193
2006: 809
2007: 481 (low occupancy year)
2008: 717 (half year)
