Portuguese Banks

For those of you who hold money in Portuguese banks you may be interested to know that they are not immune from the malaise affecting banks worldwide. According to this week's issue of the Portuguese Resident, the worst affected is Millennium Bank, but BPI (my bank!) and BCP are also affected. Their shares have reached a new low, Millennium's are worth just over 1 euro, the other two not much higher. I just hope that the regulatory authorities will ensure that customers assets are protected.
