Anyone know how to get tickets for the WSB on Nov. 2nd? They don't seem to be available through www.autodromodoalgarve.com/en/
Have got my flights booked, so they better not change the date again!!
Bring it on...!

I see that the developers have recently posted up to date pics of the construction progress of the new racetrack - http://www.autodromodoalgarve.com/en/const_jun1.html

New race track
Thought you might be interested in this link if you have not seen it already. They seem to be getting on with it very quickly. Let's hope it will be ready.Registe-se grátis em http://video.autohoje.com/login.php

Still no sign of tickets for November being available through the web site. I have emailed them again to ask when they will be available and will let you know what they say. However there are new pics of the construction progress on http://www.autodromodoalgarve.com/en/const_jul1.html
I drove past the site a week ago. There is a lot of frantic activity with a constant stream in and out of tipper trucks etc. There is a hell of a lot of work remaining - not least of which is the access road. The web site talks about direct access from the motorway. At the moment there is no sign of that and the only access is down small unclassified roads. From a safety point of view I cannot see how it can get its licence without the new road being completed.

Not easy to find it. You cannot see it from the motorway nor EN125 and it is actually a few kms further north. Turn off the EN125 at Figueira and head north, pass under the motorway and keep going. You will probably start finding lorries too big for the roads and the roads are all breaking up. The trucks will lead you to the site entrance but all you can see from there are the tops of about half a dozen tower cranes. No sign of a new access road that I could find.
You can also see the site from the top of Foia above Monchique - just look towards the SW and you will see an enormous brown scar with all the earthworks that have been going on.
