Have any other residents noticed how angry tourists become when it rains....comments I have heard for example.....

in an angry tone..

"ITS RAINING....DONT YOU KNOW!!!"

(gee I always wondered what makes the roads wet!)

or with hands on hips.

"AND HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO GO ON FOR?!"

as though we are somehow responsible for rain and can make it stop.....they never seem to get the point that if it doesnt rain there will be no water for the pools and gofer courses and everything else.. they just want sunshine for themselves and it can rain someother time. ie on someother tourist preferably.

er sorry young will2..just looked at weather forcast.

torrential rain, temperature -6, hail storms..snow in Silves...all in the dates you gave..dreadful....but never mind.....keep smiling

I think some people forget that local business could not survive wth out the golfers and the income they produce.

Portuguese friends of mine aren't 'surviving'....nothing to do with golfers though... the Intermarches taken away lot of their business
