We are coming on our annual pilgramage to Carveiro tommorow. Could anyone tell me details about medical cover, GP services/ availabilty. Our son has Epilepsy and has recently had a few fits whilst we normally cope with these ourselves I am concerned about response times etc should the need occur? We have taken out additional insurance etc

Edificio Cavoeiro Terrace, R.Povo do Burro, (Up the steps, past Arts galary) just look for the newpaper kiosk (just past taxi rank).
He's our doctor and practically our neighbour as our apartment is just a block away from 'his surgery. Maybe worth just checking out the surgery so that you know how to get there if need be, Í'm sure you can just pop in also to speak to his receptionist wife, who is really friendly. Hopefully you won't have to use services.
