Cheap Internet connection

Hi All

Am looking for a cheap internet connection I can use in the apartment. Go over about 4 or 5 times a year and was thinking about taking over a laptop and being able to connect that to the internet probably ADSL so can make it wireless. So does anyone know of a cheap provider ?

Turn on your laptop wireless at your apartment. Let it find any wireless signals in the area. Then connect to the strongest unencrypted local area site and you will have the cheapest internet connection.

Hope you have neighbours with wireless modems otherwise it will not work. But it is surprising to find unencrypted signals in Carvoeiro where you least expect it. I found it best to situate the laptop as close to the outside as possible such as a window. I in fact have picked up strong signals sitting on the balcony. Makes it more difficult to see the screen if it is very sunny.
