School recommendations

Hi, we are moving to the Algarve this year and wish to hear any and all recommendations for the international schools in the area. Our daughter is 7 and would be going into year 3. We have had responses from the Vilamoura and Lagoa schools and these would be of particular interest.
We are also looking to rent accomodation and would be grateful for any advice and information.
We have posted on the property forum previously and thank you for all the helpful responses.

both schools are not too bad ..the one in lagoa had some parent power trouble two years ago when the fees went up 28 %...there is another new british school in near lagoa for up to 11 I think...seems quite good but cant vouch for it personally.

on the subject of rented accommodation, I am afraid I had better not say a word...we now have the big M watching over us (thats a moderator!!)

better read this quick before it diappears!

have you considered the state system over here? some parents have found (myself included) that this is a better option.It is certainly the best way for a child to learn the language quickly and also to integrate with peers, culture etc. and of course it is free except text books.
