Post by Karen Ann »

Ola

How is Jota Litas since their fire recently, have they got it sorted yet and are they ready for re-opening?

I'm pretty sure it was open on 2nd /3rd March when I was visiting. I remember walking past and seeing it full. However I must admit to having a few "Latin Lover's" in Bar Havana so maybe I had my cocktail goggles on.

I think it was probably just a little bit of smoke damage, nothing that a bucket of water and some Sonasol verde wouldn't sort out

Fire

Post by biffa »

This topic reminds me of a mate of mine visiting A RAINHA restauarant on the road to the Barragem de Arade a few years back. He was for some reason shown the kitchen which he noted had a very blackened ceiling. He asked if they had recently suffered a kitchen fire and the owner loked at him bemused and said "No". The ceiling was just like that with grime!!
