Ghosts in Lagoa?

Post by Blondelle »

I wonder if anyone can help me please? (and here Im blatantly advertising my "Ellies Corner" on Home Page-hope thats alright Steen?).
A future story will be one of "night sounds" in Lagoa. While most were explicable- there is one that never was!
Are there any residents of Lagoa or anyone whos heard the strange noise that (when we were resident) would sweep through the town(city)in very early hours, about 1-2 am.It was the most creepy sound ever;like a long deep echoing sigh or heavy breath(no crude replies please-though i get your drift!). I heard it now & then if awake.Teenage son heard it too and it frightened him.Seemed to come down the back road where indoor market is situated,at the back of our apartment.
Anyone heard of it? Maybe Steen or Gambrinus? We never got explanation from any source.IS THERE A GHOSTLY PRESENSE IN LAGOA? if anyone can tell me I can write it into story.Thanks,luv,Ellie.

I enjoy reading your stories!

As for ghostly presence in Lagoa, I would think most of them are employed as civil servants?

Ghosts in Lagoa!

Cheers Steen! and thanks for kind comments--thank-you also for the nice presentation of the corner.
I do hope that other viewers will enjoy thetales--our couple of years in Algarve based most of time in Lagoa was a truly unique experience.Sometimes it was hard but the good far outweighed any bad and I would'nt change one tiny bit--except when we had to return to UK to look after ailing parents. My body is in England but heart belongs to Algarve!
I like the idea of "late night hauntings" by civil servants. You can't possibly mean "ghostly acts" of "up to no good"going on in the wee small hours could you? Mind you,we had a wine shop below at the back--they had "deliveries" at most unusual hours--3 am !!! any other ideas? What was that eerie, unearthly heavy sighing noise???
