Wall tiles

Post by ceh »

Are there any specialist tile shops around? I guess that Izi and Leroy Merlin sell tiles but where else can I look. I'm looking for wall tiles for the kitchen which is about to be refitted.

Thanks in anticipation

I recently bought nice floor and wall tiles for my bathroon from Socoporches - on the 125 just before Porches - telephone 282 381 619. They have a great range and often have special offers - I got the tiles for my bathroom for 196 euros.

Socoporches great for bathrooms. Lots in stock, good price.
Leroy Merlin for good value (i.e. cheap).

Our favorite for choice:
Azulejos Del Vado, which is on the roundabout at Lago opposite th entrance to Fatacil. Very interesting tiles, quite a wide range, and if you want to, you can spend many thousands on some unusual tiles - or you can spend a reasonable amount too.

Suggest you do the tile shopping very soon, as delivery dates are sometimes prolonged depending on what you choose.

Final bit of advice, plan on starting the kitchen installation at least 2 weeks after the tiles are "due to be delivered".

Agree with logicbob, we bought our tiles here for our kitchen refurb.. The only problem we found is that there is almost too much choice.
