Is it the one on the left hand corner of Rest Hill Market Road? Have always looked but never gone in, we will have to put this on the must try list.!

 Please do it will be interesting to get some more reviews on this restaurant, we have always had a very good meal there and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Mind you we have been in August and it was packed.

Hiya, it was not open, we had a brief look but couldn't really see much. Hopefully when we come out in March it will be up and running again.

Thanks to this forum and review section - I have a new place to try when I pop over for a few days in March. It's always been one of those places I seem to have just walked past and never really took much notice. Hopefully it'll become one of regular haunts :)

It has always been empty when we have walked past, which has put us off going in. We found out why in January; every item on the menu was 2 or 3 euros dearer than Casa Algarvia, Gales, Happys and Jota Lita, and all of those restaurants produced consistently excellent food so we saw no reason to go into an empty restaurant and pay more for our food.

Having been to CV only for three or four one-week visits, I wonder if the more regular visitors or Brit inhabitants could come up with some kind of map which would allow us nearly newcomers to locate some of your recommended eateries? Perhaps a streetmap showing where a particular restaurant is? If this were included on the website, it would be great. Finding somewhere reliable and good value can be very difficult when you only know the area slightly.

Anyone up for it??

Many thanks Mike, I didn't realise the freemaps were available on-line. This is a great help. David.

Now open the Chief has bought it from the old owner, so the food is just as nice, it wasnt very busy but the service was great and the face lift was needed and has improved the whole place.
Agree the prices are a bit more expensive than some places but we have never had a bad meal and in some of the others we have.......
