Truly Pierre--I do have a slight temperature----and am feeling 'tres chaude'-----could be la grippe(flu for non-french speakers)--or maybe just a case of being warm-blooded---is there a French cure I wonder

and yes--i do think you could be a bit of a----bete feroce/bete noir---but did Isay there was anything wrong with that Hmmmm

You know very well --my feelings for all things wild --dont you?
Im still puzzled by you --that 'Hmmm' sounds familiar though

Sorry to hear youre a bit under the weather sounds like you need some help to get your temperature down!
I advocate heat transfer via close contact and a good conductor !
Dont think this french guy a be any good to you theyre all talk and bad breath(think of smelly cheese garlic onions

thank-you Morris--glad you liked them----its more a bad cold than flu I think---voice gone all croaky as well----so its nice to be able to 'talk' here!

Je suis ici et nullepart.

Aussi Morris mon pote, j'avais brose mes dents hier soir apres le diner complet avec la sauce pour cache la pourriture de la carne (another outdated French sterotype, mais bien sur utilise par mes cousins Anglais, example YOBS & LADS (et LADETTES)

pas bien educate, bien sur) mais pas ce matin apres mes croissantes et cafe au lait. ZUT alors, OK peut-etre apres mon foie gras a midi. Bon Appetite, si possible, mes Anglais sur l'isle isolate et insular.

How nice to see you back 'encore'--Ive had withdrawal symptoms of your sweet talking ------ dont worry your 'tete Francais' over Morris' remarks---he obviously has no appreciation for Le Cuisine Francais as you and I do!
I love nothing better than to start the day with a hot croissant with creamy 'beurre' and spread with luscious plum 'confiture'--well--maybe there could be a better way--------

Ellie, it is a known scientific fact the a hot shower as opposed to a cold shower will "quite concupiscence" very quickly. No offense intended and a Happy New Year to you....

Well--ive just put my hotpot in the oven --so had to get back to this one Guest2
I looked up 'concupiscense'in french dic. and it said 'lecherous'!But in English part lecherous was 'lubrique'! Now im even more confused

You dont seem ill-mannered at all --unless I m reading it all wrong----my French isnt very good --I just get by!-------yes -you would like mon ami-and hes getting worse as he gets older

----guess what? He now has '2' 'English ' nurses looking after him! To help him get around

--so he tells me!-----when we saw him on holiday--he said to me ' Ellie I need them to keep my balance--as i cant jog like I used to

' I have no idea what he meant --but he was laughing as he said it and he seems happy with the situation!

Would this only happen in France --I ask myself?
P.S is it me who needs a hot shower or Pierre

There is nothing that frightens me more than the wrath of an angry woman and just being a lowly guest, I will redefine the meaning of the word concupiscence to mean "ardent romantic desire". As far as the question of who should take the hot shower, I refuse to answer that on the grounds that it might incriminate me. But be advised the hot showers should be taken "s'o".

Anyone have a 'cure' for a cold---husky throat--and chesty cough--or do French germs need a french cure?
