Good "walk you donkey up a hill food"!!!
Covert - Bread, olives, sardine paté, butter
Feijoada com arroz branco - bean stew with white rice
Assado de carne com batata - roast pork with potato
Bife grelhado com ovo, batata frita e arroz branco - grilled steak with egg, chips and plain boiled rice
Bife de peru com molho de cogumelos com batata frita - turkey steak with creamy mushroom sauce and sliced fried potatoes
Molotoff com caramelo - Egg white pudding (souflé, not sure about that!) with caramel
gelado - Ice cream
water, wine, coca cola, ice tea
Just over 42 euros
The portions were huge, far too much food. Everything was very good and tasted "home cooked" if you know what I mean! Only thing missing was veg or salad.
they had about ten dishes of the day plus a large menu.

Not sure how you got out for only 42 for 4 with pudding. Usually at least 12 a head. I reckon they made a mistake. Go back and offer the difference.
